I'm tired of people blaming God for this... "Why didn't He stop this...He could've stopped this!" HE DIDN'T START IT !!!
Honestly though people, why would he stop this...He's not even allowed in our schools.... everyone keeps pushing Him out. One of these days our missionaries that our churches support overseas are going to have to come back home to work in their own country!! We need Jesus, plain and simple.
Nearly 30 people died senselessly.
If you need caught up on what we're talking about here... check this link out first.
A couple other videos I'd like you to check out as well before we move on here.
Our President spoke today on the shootings and you could tell he was talking as a daddy first, President second.
Also, the General Superintendent of the Assembly of God, George O. Wood spoke today on the shootings as well.
What I would soo love to do... is go minister to the families and friends left behind... love on them, pray with them, be there for them, a shoulder to cry on.
I would also love to be there for the families of the shooters -- yes, you heard me right. I would love to pray with them and be there for them as well, more than anything.
It's our job... as Christians... to love on these people. Praying that the family of God locally will wrap their arms around these people and help them through this terrible time and be there for them especially through Christmas time and all the times after.
I've read some comments on facebook that wish horrible things on the two guys that were shooting and what people wish happened to them... don't you understand... Satan is behind all this... all the anger and hatred (on all sides) on the side of the shooters and on the side of all of you spouting off at the mouth about what you wish would've happened to these guys. NO!! You heard me... I said NO!! We all need Jesus... all of us, them as well. My heart hurts what happened to ALL involved - not just the kids, not just the adults, not just the people left behind, but the ones that did the shooting.
Step back and think people... where were their hearts at when this happened? They obviously needed help. They obviously needed Jesus. They obviously needed some help and some love... some counseling.... something!! We, as people, are way too quick to judge people. We need to see them as Jesus sees them... and Jesus was saddened by all of this.
THE ONLY thing that makes my heart feel even the slightest bit better is knowing those 20 children are in Jesus' lap and He's holding them tonight since their parents can't - and they are safe... and spending this Christmas and ever Christmas thereafter with Jesus.
Stop your hate towards these guys and put yourself in their shoes... pray for their families... only one of them died that I've heard, pray for the other guy they found as well that they get him the help he needs (while in jail probably).
There's going to be such a need of Christian counseling and other mental health issues that could arise from all this -- be in prayer for everyone involved... this spans far and wide.... parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, friends of friends, co-workers, etc... it goes on and on.
God bless you and hold your family close, tell them how much you love them. Good Night!
